Pretty weird and creepy, but what else would you expect from Neil Gaiman?

Probably not the best book if you are just learning to read.
However, if you are a bit older and like Neil Gaiman and/or things that go bump in the night...this is the alphabet book for you.

Wonderful art. Demented, deranged, adorable.

I love Neil.

The dangerous alphabet, a darker twist on teaching a child the alphabet. It was interesting to say the least, but not a book I personally fancy or ever see myself using or suggesting the use of in the future.

Wonderfully creepy. There's so much going on in the art. Questionably appropriate for kids? Parents, maybe look through this before your kids do to make sure you approve of the content.

I happen to stumble upon this book, it's from Gaiman so I wanted to read and pass it on to my niece. It's a strange book - somewhat dark for picture-book-aged children such as the ones who hide behind cushion seeing mutated minions, while too short for older readers.

Detailed dark and creepy illustrations and Gaiman rhyming.

It's like Neverwhere for small children or big children.

I really like it, but it's too old for T.

Definitely a book to amuse adults, and not for learning your letters.
