Usually most romance novels has the story building up to the two main characters falling hopelessly in love with each and not getting together right until the end. This one has them doing it right at the beginning. I have to say this made for a really refreshing change. As soon as Bobbi and Ross meet again after years of not seeing each other, it’s love at first sight. Not only does Bobbi walk away from that first meeting with a new chap in her life, but also half ownership of a lighthouse.
I couldn’t help having visions of the show Grand Designs in my head. The Lighthouse needs a lot of work doing on it and I had so many things running through my head about how it was looking the more work they did on it. What a fabulous opportunity and I think I would have rushed into buying it as quickly as Bobbi did if I was her.
I really liked Bobbi. She’s very down to earth and even though she is very much loved up with Ross, the fact that he has a past does slightly concern her. I mean she wouldn’t be human if she didn’t. Obviously a new relationship as well as a new partnership is never going to run smoothly, certainly not in the real world never mind in fiction.
Meet Me At The Lighthouse is a wonderfully light hearted read. Being from Yorkshire myself, I loved the whole setting though it has left me wanting to now go off and buy a lighthouse! Couldn’t think of a better book to read this summer, or anytime of the year for that matter. Will have you laughing, smiling and feeling all warm and lovely inside.
My thanks to HarperImpulse for an advanced copy of this book. All opinions are my own and not biased in anyway.

Okay so… this was so cute!!! I only gave it ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 starts because it was quite an average comedic romance however I loved the concept and the Ross was absolutely adorable. My expectations in men have sky-rocketed. I read the last 180 in no time and ugh- such a unique, cute, comfort read
