I picked this book up because it reminded me of Invisible by James Patterson and David Ellis. While there are similarities, there aren’t too many. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed the story.

I can’t really describe this without giving all the details away. Read it.

Another solid thriller from one of my favourite authors. Although, I'd say this one is more of a police procedural than an actual thriller, but I enjoyed every second. I put some of the pieces together quite early on, but this is still such a good book. I love how original John's ideas are. He always has something in every book that I've never read before.

The book is well-written, and sometimes it was difficult to put it down. There are storylines that are very well-planned, written, and implemented. There are details that confuse the reader. But, too many clichés.

A really good, twisty thriller. John Marrs has some genius potting going on here and elements that actually make you feel sorry for the bad guy....until he does something evil again. I didn’t see the big reveal coming at all! (I was disappointed there was no Lazarus moment at the end 😱)

How does authors come up with this????

Possible spoilers…..

I just recently discovered John Marrs, and the first two books of his that I read were in the first person where this book was completely third person which I personally don’t prefer.

With that said, I still am thrown when one of the main characters is murdered by the killer. So when Becca was murdered, I still found myself gasping and “clutching my pearls” in shock.

Easy QuickBooks to read couldn’t put it down took me just a little over a day and a half to finish it. The author has knocked it out of the park again.
