Its funny when people give this just one star or start giving it hateful words and comparing it to great writers who have been around the poetry scene for years and years. See it for what it is (one of the very many reasons why 'smart' people are incurably stupid). Don't go blatantly hating someones poetry just by saying that you could've written better or you chocked on the words or things like that. Poetry or its rules aren't set in stone. Just think of it as something that is in its infancy and in the simplest form there is. I read many saying its like its written by a 13 year old child. Well, how many 13 year olds do you know that write these days? It's one thing to bash a writer for writing a shitty story with shitty character development or plot. It's another thing comparing the Ugly Duckling and Lord of the Rings. It's like saying EVERY POET IS SHIT compared to Robert Frost, William Shakespeare, Emily Dickinson, Pablo Neruda, Edgar Allan Poe, John Keats, William Wordsworth, Charles Bukowski and William Blake!!!

I really liked The Universe of Us by Leav when I read it it, but nothing in this appealed to me. It felt unoriginal & without depth

I was captured by this book because of how elegantly simple and economical with words Lang Leav’s poetry is. The poems touch on moments and emotions so beautifully and for some there was a strong emotional impact for me. Her poems were so resonant with me, and I felt very moved by this collection.

The book moves from the feeling of looking for someone, and losing someone, to finding love and happiness, and it’s wonderful to read each piece and take in the experience it’s trying to convey. I feel like this is a book that I will come back to many times over and be stirred by new things at different times in my life.

The illustrations by the author are quirky and cute, and while they didn’t add too much to the feel of the poems for me, it was wonderful to see how talented the author is and how this book felt so much like a true piece of art.

Poetry isn't for everyone, nor is all poetry for me. I was easily drawn into this collection, amongst other pieces found across social media outlets.

I will say that the most unfortunate part of the book is the design. What an utter was of paper. The publishers could have made more of a profit and cut the size of the book in half easily. It irked me greatly and detracted my attention several times.

Beauty is in the word on the page, not upon looking at it.

Pretty okay-ish. I am not a very romantic person or a fan of tragic romance. Maybe those who have been going through a heartbreak will be able to relate more to this collection. I found couple of poems heart warming, rest were not that interesting to me. Also many of these poems were pointless/meaningless. Just that this book was not for me. Others may love it.

I've been reading this off and on for the longest time, but I finally made my way through the collection! I'll admit, I don't really know how to review poetry. I enjoyed this collection immensely and I definitely have the desire to pick up more works by Lang Leav. I think she depicted love in an excellent way, showcasing the good, the bad, & the straight up ugly.

I waited for this to come out on iBooks, so when I found out today that it had I went to buy it. I read most of it right away, and only took a small break between then and finishing it. This is such a beautiful book. I love every poem, everything about it. Very sad to see it end.
