This is a 3.5! I really liked it, Cobey and Vincent were absolutely adorable, like every couple in this series. I really like how chill and soft and cute this series is it’s so heartwarming to me. I am tired of asshole love interests! Nice people are amazing! Genuinely sweet jocks are great!
Tutoring trope is a hit or miss for me and I didn’t have grand expectations for this book but it was super sweet and wholesome! The attraction was a biiiit too instant and surface level, not a huge character work and I am not convinced the Gavin plotline was necessary. But it gave me the nerd/jock moments I love, namely « nerd wears his boyfriend’s jersey and number » I eat that shit UP.

I love NR Walker and I love this series so it’s no surprise to literally Anyone that I LOVED this book. Like, are you kidding me? A football player and nerd??? GOD I LOVE!! This was just exactly what I look for in cute romances and I couldn’t be happier. The FU series is seriously pure gold!!!

this was such a sweet read! give me a jock-nerd combination any day and I will eat that shit uppppp.
Vincent and Cobey were so sweet, so lovely and so easy to fall in love with. I'm enjoying all the Franklin U stories, but I feel that Learning Curve was probably one of my favorites so far.
I could really feel the connection between the characters, how deeply they cared for each other and how well they complemented each other. Their personalities truly were mirrors and I feel that the author did a great job at representing early stage intimacy and desire, without being crass or obvious - don't get me wrong, the spice is there and it's good.
I loved how there was no third act breakup, as that shit is boring imo, but instead you can see how well the two characters learn to trust and communicate with each other which feels very realistic for that stage of life.
I felt giddy throughout the whole book and was kicking my feet every fucking chapter, it was so good to see them opening up and falling in love. Will definitely check out more from N.R. Walker!

This book was sweet yet cheesy. Everything between the two main characters went easily and smoothly, and their entire dynamic was light and simple. There was absolutely no angst or drama, which unfortunately meant it was all quite uneventful.
I have to say that this whole thing could sometimes be a little too sugary for me, especially the constant checking in about consent and stuff. It felt slightly unnatural, but I suppose the idea behind it was nice at least.
Corey and Vincent were likable characters but I can’t say I truly felt a connection to them.
Corey was honestly kind of bland and did not have much of a distinct personality; he even came across as a bit unrealistic to me personally, but I can also see why some people would swoon over his incredibly kind and patient disposition.
Vincent, on the other hand, did have more depth to him, especially when it came to his insecurities and childhood, but I can also see why some people might like him a little less due to him being socially inept.
The relationship itself was cute, but wasn’t developed enough for me to really love it. Nonetheless, I genuinely liked how both of them would build each other up with a constant string of support and kindness. It was a very healthy and loving relationship, but I just wish there had been a little more development between them.
All in all, I thought this was a pleasant read with a fluffy relationship and sweet characters; it wasn’t anything mind-blowing, but it was nice.
