Cobey is the nicest jock around, but he needs to buckle down so he doesn’t fail and get kicked off the football team. So, his parents send him to the dorms with a new roommate, studious genius Vincent.
His is a sad story, losing his Mom and being abandoned by his Dad, so he’s now on a scholarship, but is struggling socially.
As roommates, they agree to trade strengths, but they also have a great attraction going on. Vee admitting he’s a virgin makes Cobey care and want to be gentle with him.
This is a great story, with Vincent’s past continuing to impact him on so many levels, from friendship to physical contact to eating enough. Him being left at a young age doesn’t sound right since authorities would have found out, but the rest makes sense.
Nice instalment in this series.

LOVED this jock/nerd romance. Vincent is a lovable little shy guy and Cobey was the perfect all-American jock nice guy. He so fiercely accepted and defended Vincent, even against his negative self-talk. Vincent's growth felt reasonable and I loved to see his friendship with Jayda form. His backstory was heartbreaking and I haven't cried so hard in a book as I did reading him say that he had a hard childhood, but he eats every day now, so that's good. Broke my heart. I loved the relationship between him and Cobey, and that there was no 3rd act breakup or drama around whether Cobey would be happy in a relationship with him.

I adore both the characters here. I love that I haven't even finished the book and yet I'm thoroughly convinced Cobey and Vincent are totally in love. I'm also very invested in their conversations LOL. I just really like how they seem to talk about anything and it never gets boring.

A quick adorable read!
I love me some Jock/Nerd and this one didn’t disappoint! It was cute and fluffy and gave me that warm buzzy feeling you get when a book is just that good.
Both Cobey and Vincent were so freaking lovable. Vincent so innocent and socially anxious was perfectly paired with Cobey’s outgoing and kind nature. They both made each other better and I loved that.
This book is super low angst and so absolutely sweet. Although there was spice, it wasn’t overwhelming and it was all incredibly soft.
10/10 will read again.
