i first read this book in november 2023 and i knew in this moment it awakened a major fascination not only with m-m but with the love i now have for needy, bratty, co-dependent boys. it was meeting Mercer Bentley Palmerston that changed my entire brain chemistry and i was lost to it <3
i recently did a re-read and i am soooooooo happy I did because i truly forgot how much i was enamoured and obsessed with this book and the love of the author who wrote it. Little Demon in the Details will forever have my heart and i will not hear any slander about it.
mercer & blake, blake & mercer are everything i love most in characters, the consistent back and forth of banter between them had me kicking my feet and swooning, the calmness that you feel every time blake has to fix yet another drama mercer has created even though we all know mercer is purely doing it to bring every drop of blake’s attention on him, consequences be damned -it’s what he has been deprived of his entire life from his hideous family so when blake sees mercer, as in truly sees him for who he is, mercer is hooked and so was i!
mercer is my love, this beautiful broken bratty boy stole my heart from my chest and i am still ok with it !!! he is a diva, a total bitch and an absolute pleasure to read. His internal thoughts have me screaming and smiling continuously but he also has me wanting to cry for him and hold him together. He seriously is such a fascinating and special character, I don’t know how anyone could not be obsessed with him!
throughout my reread, i certainly discovered that i must of ✨forgotten✨ how effing spicy this book was. these two forever bring the spice and i was eating that the eff up. mercer and his lace had me and blake messed up from first scene. this beautiful lil man knew exactly how to tease blake and at many times, had him wrapped around his finger to get exactly what he wanted and ahhhhh i was obsessed. They make me f-e-r-a-l ok??? I was lost to them and im so ok with it.
how this book can be sooooooo romantic soooooo grippingly intense and soooooo filth all at once is quite literally magic and i will never be over it

the smut was EXCELLENT but the plot was borderline nonsensical
Little Demon in the Details is my third read by Nordika Knight and I loved it!! Mercer and Blake were so fun to read. I loved Mercer and his attitude and he made me laugh throughout the entire book. I also loved the elements of mystery and plot twists that came into play. This book could definitely be a new comfort book for me!
*Arc review* Once again Nordika Night writes a masterpiece. Absolutely loved the relationship between Mercer and Blake. The way she writes the passion and love between the main characters is incredible and I thoroughly enjoy the fact that I can feel that love through her writing. This whole story was amazing and I definitely highly recommend. Nordika’s writing is just such a smooth flow while reading and she is definitely going to be an instant purchase author for me.

I loved this so much. I could not put it down and I didn’t want the story to end. Blake and Mercer were perfect for each other. Their chemistry was off the charts.
This would have been a 5 star book but I did feel that it dragged a tad too long thus I kinda skimmed the last few chapters. It was still a really good read over all! Very spicy too.
I’m definitely checking out the other books from this author.

Honestly, I don't think Nordika can do anything wrong. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the relationship dynamic in it. Check trigger warnings!!
