First half of this book had me devouring it but it ended up being WAYYYYY too long and very anticlimactic which was disappointing. But the character motivations and psyches were stuff I’d never read before so it was still pretty interesting.

I really loved this book, love both Mercer and Blake. They are so fun. For the first 60%
And then...things started to draaaaag. I think at least 100pages could have been cut and I would have still been happy.
Skimmed the rest after 80% I just couldn't do it anymore.
