Erm sorry what a huge twist at the end?! I literally gasped and that is why this book gets 4 stars from a 3.5. It’s an okay book but I found it just slowing down in the middle. I also wished it was taken place in a different period of time or that it was more classy and elegant given the front cover? I hated the mention of a bowling alley, a purple boot wall and blue hair in a story of money and mystery.
Overall Very lovable characters just wish it wasn’t so 2013

It only took me a year to finish this book that put me in one of the biggest reading slumps ever. I sometimes curse myself for not being able to DNF very easily.
The beginning half of the book lulled me to sleep for a good long while.
I will say that the second half was much better although I still think left something to be desired.
I did both physical copy and audiobook to get through this one… I do NOT recommend the audio book.
High five to me however for finally finishing this damn thing.
