I’m still in shock over that ending y’all. SHOOKETH. And I can’t wait for more people to read this so we can chat about it because my mind is whirling with possibilities. Where does it go from here?! Way to set-up for an action packed finale.

I loved that this focused on Pippa and Arjun (and HELLO some of my favorite tropes!!). This turned into one of the few cases of more insta-ish love that I was all in for. Those two just worked. Fantastic chemistry, swoony kisses, and dire situations. The majority of the POV’s were from them and I liked the dynamic shift.

There’s points-of-view from some of the other characters in the series too. They’re many angles to the plot and seeing the shifting sides from werewolves, vampires, and fae are creating a thickly woven story.

I am very excited for the last book in this series. What started out as a meh series for me is turning into another highly enjoyable one.

Overall audience notes:
- YA Fantasy
- Language: very little
- Romance: kisses to closed door
- Violence: physical altercations, weaponry, war themes
- Trigger/Content Warnings: domestic and child abuse recounted

I throughly enjoyed the first two books in this series so I was super excited to receive an arc of The Righteous. I had no ideas that this book would blow the other two away! By far, the best book in the series!
The Righteous focuses on Pippa & Arjun’s story, is very character driven, but also includes enough drama, romance, tension and twists to keep the story flowing. Bastien, Celine & Michael make an appearance but play more of a secondary role in this book. We move from New Orleans to the Slyvan Vale and the land of the Fae does. not. disappoint!
While this book takes a detour off the original plot line, it all comes together with an ending that will leave you with a book hangover, & desperate for book four!

Thank you Penguin Teen for sending me an advanced copy of this book!
This might be my favorite book in the series so far! I loved Arjun and Pippa’s story so much and I hope there’s more of them in the final book!

I was expecting a story about Celine and Bastien, but finding out this story was more about Pippa and Arjun didn't disappoint me at all. I actually think I preferred their story. Arjun, the half-fae, took a trip to the Sylvan Vale to find a Healer to help Odette. Pippa snuck through after him and ended up getting caught by the fae. In order to save her, Arjun had to promise to marry her. They make quite the pair! I really enjoyed their story. But that end.... oh my gosh!

Enjoyed this much more than I expected considering the main couple is barely in it. Loved getting to know more about Arjun and Pippa. Can’t wait for the final installment!
