بعد از تموم کردن مجموعه هری پاتر، تنها کتابی که سراغش رفته بودم فرزند نفرین شده بود. که خب به قلم نویسنده‌ی اصلی نبود. اما فکر کردم که برگشتن به دنیای جادوگری، هرجوری که ترسیم شده باشه برای من همچنان شیرین و جذاب و دوست‌داشتنیه. یه روز که همینجوری توی فیدیبو می‌چرخیدم با این کتاب مواجه شدم و با توجه به حجم کمش، دلم خواست که برای چالش سبزخوانیم برم سراغش. و خدای من، برگشتن به اون دنیا عجب لذتی داشت! متوجه شدم که چقدر دلم براش تنگ شده و یک بار دیگه به داستان سرا بودن ذهن رولینگ افتخار کردم.
افسانه‌ی مورد علاقه‌ام هم " افسانه‌ی سه برادر" بود. ارباب مرگ شدن، کلا قضیه‌ی جالبی بود برام و اینکه همه‌ی اینا اساس و پایه‌ی دنیای هری پاتر رو ساختن به شدت گیراست. بعد از این همه سال، بعد از گذشت این همه زمان، چطور می‌تونی دنیایی رو خلق کنی که این همه تازه و همه‌گیر و کشف کردنی باشه؟ جواب من اینه: باید رولینگ باشی!

This is similar to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them- the idea engrossing, but turning out to be quite boring.
I did like Dumbledore's comments on the last story with the wandlore superstitions-
'Wand of elder, never prosper.'
'When his wand's oak, and hers is holly,
Then to marry would be folly.'
'Rowan gossips, chestnut moans,
ash is stubborn, hazel mourns.'

I loved that each story had notes from Albus Dumbledore, whose humor I love. Only wish it had more stories! I took way too long to pick this up
