I’m giving this book 4 stars mostly for a couple of reasons.

First, the story is original and surprising at the end. Many books promise twists and turns and a big reveal at the end. Very few deliver. This one, with much less ambition, will surprise you in one way or another.

Second, the book is well written with interesting characters. I won’t go as far as saying that the characters deserve their own series, which it seems is going to happen, but they are interesting enough. This makes reading the book enjoyable because you can submerge in the story and follow the characters through out it.

If you like mystery thrillers, you should give this book a chance.

Pretty slow for 75%, but the writing was good. Got pretty confusing right at the end but was a solid read and I actually didn't figure out the twist. Will read the next book

This book sure took off when it got started! I feel like there were so many different avenues Finley was following that at times it was a little hard for me to keep it all straight but I was really intrigued in hearing how all the pieces were going to fit together. I had a pretty good feeling that I knew what was going to happen in the end and I was correct in one part but didn’t see the other part coming. I really enjoyed the book and how fast paced it was that didn’t make you feel like it was dragging on, instead it felt like so much was happening but in a short amount of time and I couldn’t wait to figure out how it ended! I look forward to reading more from this author and hope to get some unanswered questions solved in the next book that comes out next year.

I positively SLOGGED through this book. Idk WHY, I almost gave up on it so. Many. Times.

Then, plot twist, I basically only enjoyed the plot twist (last 10% of the book).

So maybe I just had some block about this book. Seems most people enjoy it, I just could NOT care about anyone or the plot for most of it

This book was a great introduction to Finley O'Sullivan's life and story. The Last Lie Told has a lot of twists and turns as the author navigates you through a story of lies in both Finleys personal and professional life.
