Long and slow. Not a lot of character analysis or depth considering its length, and there’s almost no conflict. I think this specific verse isn’t my style which impacted my rating of it. Not enough about the dynamics - Stellan was an omega but had like zero omega traits so he read like a regular dude. Great sex scenes though. I still finished it. Whatever

Really cute
I love how these possibly star crossed lovers are brought back together. Its a really cute romance. I was worried for a bit with the pressure added on Stellan but it works out.

I enjoyed the concept of this book. Typically, in an omegaverse there is one omega in a pack, but this story had two. Omegas are known to be very territorial, especially over their alphas so I was very interested to see how things were going to play out between Stellan and Elise. I think the only reason this worked so well in this book was because they used to be best friends before Elise left and found her pack. The pair were as close as they could be and that helped Stellan’s transition into her pack be much more seamless.
As much as I found that aspect interesting, I didn’t enjoy this book. It felt like it was very drawn out and I struggled to get through it. The conflicts that could have occurred and made it more interesting didn’t. Everything felt like it was just too easy, too perfect and it felt like it was lacking something.
I feel like we didn’t get to know each of the alphas in depth enough to develop a connection to them as a reader, and I think this kind of threw the story off for me because there was just not much to them. They all lived such different lives and almost felt like flat mates rather than a pack. The connection between them all was lacking, it felt like they were trying to be a pack, but just had their individual relationships with Elise and hung out together sometimes.
I wanted to like this book as I have enjoyed all Lana’s other works, but this one just fell short for me.

I just finished this amazing read and there's so much percolating in my mind. First I have to say how much I ADORED Stellan! He was by far my favorite character. He was genuine, sweet and broke my heart and made me happy. Then Niles just made me melt - by far just the sweetest Alpha of the group he inspires insta-love. Art was funny and just completely swoon worthy. Jackson too was awesome. I had the least love for Greyson probably in indignation of his original dislike of Stellan but he was a cute teddy to Elise. Then there's Elise - the one they're all in love with. I have to admit it took me some time to warm up to her in all honesty. I think it was a personality thing - she was strong and opinionated but did not speak up and irked me so. But as the story progressed so did Elise's character and when she finally yelled and demanded what she wanted I was proud of her. The development of their story was sweet and super cute and I just really, really enjoyed this read.
