This graphic novel was so cute. I loved the art style and think it lended really well to the quirky, spooky, edginess of the story. I loved these characters and how they helped each other out in unexpected ways.

Recommended for those who enjoyed Mooncakes.

I received this book from Netgalley in exchange of an honest review.

I was so excited when I saw this one pop up on Netgalley, I have heard of the series before but never had the chance to read it. Plus, with how slow Tapas at times is, I am happy that I can now just read it at my own speed. XD

I adored the illustrations, clever character designs, and overall plot setup! Keeping in mind that this graphic novel started as a webcomic which comes in more bite-sized pieces, I still feel Unfamiliar, Vol. 1 would benefit from being longer, as it currently feels more like a prologue. Can't wait to read the next volume!
