I picked up this book because I’m going to a book talk with this author and Reese Witherspoon in October. I actually really liked it! It wasn’t the most inventive mystery I’ve ever read, but the story was paced well with regular reveals that kept me interested. The ending fell a bit flat, but I appreciated that it comes full circle.

This book gave me whiplash from the sheer amount of plot twists. I'm sorry, this one wasn't for me!
After being totally consumed with this book from the moment I started it, I can now return to my daily activities
What an intriguing read! Loved every second of it. I feel like I've read an amazing thriller after such a long time. It will keep you on your toes and you won't be able to keep it down! My first but definitely not last book by Harlan Coben.
Another enthralling, well-written, perfectly calculated thriller. Devoured it in under 24 hours. Coben is simply a master.
A real page turner, I read this one in 36 hours. Yet I found myself not jiving with it fully and was planning to rate it two stars. Then the ending happened, and I can’t decide if this is a five star thriller or a two star parlor trick. Hence, three stars. Maybe tomorrow I’ll think differently.

Nothing groundbreaking, but a captivating easy read. One of the major flaws for me is Coben’s desire for dichotomy between the good and the bad, especially for the main characters. He seemed to feel the need to justify the bad actions by good people with “greater good” reasons.
