okay so you know whats not fair at all? the fact that Leo fucking Hernandez doesn’t exist.
i ATE this book up oh. my. god.
usually i am not one for a second chance romance but this was amazing. their high school story was so cute but sad. it did lead them to finding each other in the future so as Leo said… it was fate

I loved the premise of the book!!
I was utterly hooked the moment I read the prologue. I just backstory of the high school friendship was longer! But also, can Palico teach my cat how to behave like her lols!

Leo F*cking Hernandez.
What an absolutely delicious human being.
“You have consumed me for months. Por años. I couldn’t sleep one more night without making you mine.” ~ my ovaries are weeping. WEEPING.
And Mary was such a bad bitch ~ “You wanna be chivalrous? Go to a women’s march. Vote for a female to take office. Read a book on feminism. Stop using pussy as an insult.” ~ I love her with every fibre of my being.

Okay, as this is the final book in the Red Zone Rivals series it feels like an appropriate time to rate them in order of my most to least favourite… not that anyone asked but I am going to force it upon you anyways! ;)
Coming in at number one we have Blind Side because Gianna is literally me as a fictional character and my heart has such a soft spot for her and Clay.
Number two goes to Hail Mary because we love curvy girl representation without the fact that it is curvy girl representation being shoved down your throat every other page… and for many other reasons **cough cough Leo F*cking Hernandez cough**.
Then Fair Catch and Quarterback Sneak tied for third because my heart cannot bear to put one of these books at the bottom. I loved them all.
God bless you Kandi Steiner.

Wow, this book gutted me and then put my heart back together in a beautiful way that a second chance romance can do. Mary and Leo know each other from their younger days through gaming, until one day that is shattered. Now flash forward to college and these two end up living across the street from each other. Mary is determined to avoid and hate Leo forever. Leo has been intrigued by Mary since she moved in across the street and now that he has a room she can take until her living situation is fixed, he will use that chance to win her over. Mary doesn’t want to live at the ‘Pit’ with Leo, but she has no options. As Mary and Leo get thrown together more often and avoidance doesn’t always work, we start to see a different side to Leo and learn more about what happened when they were younger. These two had me devouring the book, the tension between them is intense and you can’t but root for them to figure things out and move on from the past! However, will there be too much pain and secrets for these two to accept and give in to each other, or will they always be enemies? Don’t miss out on this fantastic book! Love these characters and series!
This book was amazing. This series was amazing. I laughed and I cried and I giggled with excitement. IM GOING TO MISS THESE CHARACTERS SO MUCH
Would have been 5 stars - the ending was a boner killer for me with the one friend being pregnant and then one of the main characters suggesting it … why does it need to go that far every time?
leo is EVERYTHING
