THIS was so unique and refreshing??? Idk I've never read this plot line before- and what I mean is just how they met and the way the MFC turned out, with all her tattoos and everything 10/10!! Obviously the tropes are very common, but the story for me was overall sooooo good.
i loved leo and mary. their story made my heart hurt in all the good ways. i loved the first couple of chapters, leo's yearning and wallowing <333333333333333. honestly leo until now is my favorite and hes so OH MY GOD. his pov is perfect. they are made for one another. and mary oh my god. i love herrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. shes so cute and wholesome and also lowkey emo BUT LIKE goth emo and like cute and a gamer and like omgggggggggggggg.

i hated the beginning of the book, but once you found out the truth about it it made more sense. i really wanted to read this bc of the plus size fmc, and i absolutely adored her. the way leo loved her was pretty amazing

idk it was good i guess. didn’t really connect with it but i did like the premise behind it. that was very interesting and the first time i’ve read a trope like that and i would read it again. they were cute but it wasn’t the best thing i’ve ever read. the second act breakup was also not necessary. anyways probably not even the authors fault there’s just something wrong with me lately. but overall i liked it.
