Probably my least favorite of the series (so far), but football is such a good part of the plot it’s still 4 stars.
But uh…how is the team gonna throw a Hail Mary and Leo not have some kind of loving monologue about how it was all for her, a MARY?!?!

This series just gets better and better. Book 4 was a hit! Hail Mary is about Mary who finds herself with nowhere to live after the pipes in her home burst. Leo lives at the football house across the street and offers Mary a place to stay for the summer to help her out. With no other choice, Mary agrees to move in for the summer until her house is fixed. The problem is that Mary cannot stand Leo after he ruined her entire high school experience. What’s even worse? Leo doesn’t even recognize who she is! The longer Leo and Mary live together, the more Mary is unsure if Leo actually remembers what he did to her in high school. As they get closer to one another, it’s clear that Leo and Mary have very different accounts of high school. This book had me in my feelings! Ah I felt for Mary as being different through high school and really knowing who you are at a younger age, but everyone around you thinks you’re a little odd. She is a kick ass FMC and I loved that she had her own personality and didn’t need anyone to take care of her! Leo is a true book boyfriend and just wants to support Mary in everything. This book had me invested right from the start!
Mary and Leo
Childhood playmates. Second-chance. She hates him. Roommates romance
They met anonymously online with video games. He un purposely hurt her. He never forget her, seven years later they were housemates and he was obsessed with her. Mary is a plus size woman and he loves worshipping her body.
Giana and Clay got pregnant in this book!! Also I could’ve killed for a book for Kyle and other players on their team, too bad this was the last installment.

Leo and Mary were swoon worthy and one of my favorite couples of the series. I really liked their dynamic and found their relationship really cute. Plus it was fun to get to see all the other characters from previous books.
