Tempting Promises may be my favorite in the whole series!! Enemies to lovers and gets stuck in a cabin. I loved the banter and how they just went from enemies to friends with benefits. He is also her sister's ex boyfriend which made it all the more forbidden. I absolutely loved the storyline and how the enemy walls began to crack. Corinne is a favorite of mine and this one did not disappoint!

Rowan and Charlotte own neighboring farms and hate one another. They go hiking with some friends and get stranded at a secluded cabin because of weather. They sleep together but vow it's only this once...except they can't seem to stay away from one another. Can Charlotte accept help and trust someone to stay? And can Rowan change his bad boy ways?

Absolutely loved this one! Rowan falls first...so swoony! The tension and banter between the two was off the charts! Corinne Michaels has become one of my favorite authors, and I cannot wait for the next book in this series.

Enemies to lovers

It could've been interesting, but instead it seemed like a story about two people who obviously click spending the entire book throwing out reasons why they shouldn't be together. There was way too much emphasis on one the physical relationship and it got pretty boring. Charlotte was annoying as hell. Hers and her sister's story was so weak. Meh.

My favorite of the series so far!

Charlotte Sullivan and Rowan Whitlock are neighbors that “hate” each other. Not only because Rowan is Charlotte’s sister’s ex and their relationship ended badly, but also because they are competing for the same farming contract.

I was so happy to be back in Sugarloaf with all the cameos and small town love. The hate to love in this led to some of the best banter while also centering in on some more emotional topics. I listened to the audiobook and couldn’t have casted a better two people for the roles of Charlotte and Rowan. Anti Arndt and Jason Clarke made the story come to life!

This was a cute story with a funny couple that has great banter. Out of all the couples in this series so far, this one’s my favorite. Enemies to lovers in contemporary romance is always a bit of a stretch for me, I think it’s a better trope for fantasy/magic books. But in this case it worked out well. I felt for Charlotte and her thinking everyone abandoned her and I liked that she stood up to her sister.

Taste the rainbow...

When you think of certain characters, a smile just comes to your face... Rowan Whitlock is one of those for me. From the very first page of this book, I couldn't keep a smile off my face. Rowan is the playboy, the mischievous uncle, the ride-or-die brother, and the farmer with a heart of gold. Charlotte has unparalleled beauty, is quick with wit, has blind loyalty (not deserved), and has a strength that can hold the world up.

These two are sooo alike that it's scary, but an avalanched lie has made them enemies. When a "friendly" camping trip leaves them snowed in together, emotions are high, and survival modes are activated, but the tension always surrounding them can no longer be ignored. The problem is that when they are no longer isolated, those feelings that surfaced can not be denied anymore.

The swoon factor activated by Rowan's actions is my ultimate kryptonite, and I think it's Charlotte's, too! This book has everything I love about romance; enemies-to-lovers, he falls first, home is a person not a place and an endless supply of banter. Another addictive book to add to the shelves!

I’ve been waiting for Rowan’s book for months and it does not disappoint. His banter with Charlotte is top tier and the tension?

New fav in this series! The tension between Rowan and Charlotte was soooo good. I couldn't put this book down, I loved this story so much. I loved both previous books but the tension and chemistry in this one was just unmatched

Thank you VPR for an arc of this one!

This was such a good audiobook! I really enjoyed the storyline and the tension these two had. I also loved their banter these two MC had with each other. Overall a fun, good time
