Wow! This has probably managed to take my #1 spot for Sanderson's one-offs. This is a perfectly lengthed action story that does a lot of fun things within the cosmere and has a massive amount of fun details for people who have read all that the world has to offer. Definitely not a good introduction book to Sandersons work, but a great exploration of it so far!

I loved this book! Second book of the secret projects that I’ve read but my favorite yet. I loved how it’s similar to mad max saga and was really moved by sigzil. I’m amazed everytime by the fascinating worlds that Brandon comes up with. Can’t wait to see sig again.

A Cosmere Mad Max of sorts. Glad I read this in the order I did, since I think it actually would have been odd to get this before Wind and Truth. Liked it a good bit, though it can be weird going between the scope of a mainline Stormlight book and a more tightly focused standalone (and it’s a stretch to call this a standalone when it teases so much Cosmere interconnectivity for the future).
