Just flat-out feel-good without ignoring the hard stuff. It's also nice whenever a romance also pays a lot of attention to a really strong friendship group, which this one does.

Luck of the Draw was brilliantly written by Kate Clayborn. This is book #2 in the Chance of a Lifetime series. I have not read book one and did not feel that it was required to understand the story. However, if book #1 is as lovely as this one; I would definitely recommend reading it first.
Contemporary romance is not my go to genre, but now I see it in a whole new light. I hope Kate hasn't set the bar too high for other writers. I will soon find out, as I expand my reading preferences.
The storyline engrosses the reader as Aiden and Zoe embark on a tension filled journey of hate and love. I immediately fell in love with the characters as their relationship blossomed with each weekend trip to the camp and I know other readers will too. I also appreciated that the author was tasteful with her romance scenes, without making them too steamy. You will devour this book!
After winning the lottery with 3 other friends, Zoe a corporate attorney, has decided to quit her job. Zoe defended a company in a wrongful death suit and had to place monetary value on a man's life. Now, riddled with guilt; Zoe must apologize to the O'Leary family.
Zoe has built the courage to go to the O'Leary home to apologize. Only, to find out they have moved to Florida and left their son Aiden behind. Zoe quickly finds herself unconscious, but luckily Aiden is a paramedic. Aiden takes her into his home while she recovers. Now, Zoe owes him well beyond an apology. Aiden needs a fake fiancé to help increase the chance at buying his childhood camp. A camp he wants to purchase in the honor of the brother he has lost to opiate addiction. Zoe quickly agrees to the proposition. Well, Aiden is gorgeously handsome. They will embark on an awkwardly funny journey full of love, hate, and romance.
Thank you goodreads giveaway and Kensington Publishing Corp for this beautiful romance.

This is more than a love story. Zoe and Aiden come into each other’s lives at such peculiar times for both of them. Aiden is still grieving after his brother’s death. Zoe is trying to find and fix things inside that she can’t quite place. It has moments where things are funny, fun, and light. Falling in love. While ultimately, it’s healing. They are both finding what they didn’t know they were looking for. It was an amazing story of finding love and finding strength within themselves.

Mixes together many romance tropes and does it well. Sweet, funny, hopeful story with believable characters.
