I think the thing this series does best is managing the scope of its story. It knows just when to zoom in on a subtle character moment, when to gaze poignantly back in time, and when to reveal pertinent and fascinating details about the world and history of its setting. Overall a pretty great manga!

The side quest continues, and into an area I found less interesting. At least this particular side quest seems to have wrapped up in this issue, even if the fallout from it hasn't.
