Yes, please! I'm pretty sure this book was made just for me. I absolutely loved it, it was the perfect distraction I needed. Also, I'm ready to move down to Key West, just sayin'. I hope this book gets at least one sequel!
This seemed like such a cute premise. I love Key West and was excited to read a story set there. But, the third person omniscient point-of-view that included the CATS’ thoughts was just too over the top. The story got less and less believable. Also, as a Floridian, the naming of the hurricanes bothered me. Harry would not form after Sally - they are named in alphabetical order.

This was delightful. It's a fictionalized account of 2017's Hurricane Irma hitting the Keys, and how the people and cats of Hemingway House weathered the storm. I loved the cat characterizations and the descriptions of the Keys. Not exactly deep, and the human characters were a little simplistic, but I enjoyed reading it very much.

A very cute, lighthearted, and easy read. Highly recommend for cat lovers!
What a delightful story! Laura is fresh out of college. She decides to spend the summer as a tour guide at Ernest Hemmingway House in the Florida Keys. She gets to know all the staff (a couple of cute guys her age included) as well as all 54 polydactyl cats and kittens on the property.
The writing is upbeat and smooth. It’s a great feel-good story. There are ups and downs, rumors surrounding the small community, and the threat of a hurricane or tropical storm. The characters have a range of ages and varying backgrounds and personalities.
This story is inspired by the events of Hurricane Irma in 2017 and how the cats and keepers rode it out. You will love the small-town feel, the light romances, perspectives of some of the main cats, and references to older movies and songs.
Thank you to Kensington and Lindsey Hooper for the ARC for my review.
