The twist was the best I've ever experienced, and further more the psychological profiles of the characters are outstanding, especially Ozymandias and his weighing of sacrifice for gain of humanity, it's a truly thought provoking scenario, akin to that of the railcar scenario in which you pull a level to kill one, or watch 5 men die, he chose temporary sin of commission over eternal sin of omission, and I don't know if he was wrong to do so in that regard, but who's really to say, it's such a burdensome decision to make.

The world is amoral, choking on nostalgia, standing on the brink, waiting to close it's eyes.
This was way better than I expected! Deals with so many themes, characters are well fleshed out, artwork is great, and the ending is killer. Wish my first exposure to Watchmen was through this book instead of the movie.

Solid, classic graphic novel. O had never read this before, and even though I saw the movie years ago, I wanted the real experience. Definitely something any superhero or traditional comic book fan should read!
