I like to think of myself as being quite capable of suspending belief in order to enjoy a story. This novel pushed that capacity to its limit.
See what I did there?
The main character *should* know what the hell she's talking about given she hosts a TV on the subject yet she knows nothinggggg.
I've never written so many angry annotations in a book in my life. It's so dumb.
For those thinking, "but is it hot?!" well then, yeah? Sort of?
If things need to make any sense at all to you in order to get into the spicy, just avoid this horrendously written and horrifically thought-through novel.

I found that the lines got blurry with consent and it made me uncomfortable.

I really like the book altogether & the sex scenes were *whistling*
What I loved about this book actually what I loved about the whole series is the whole naked under my commands in bed & free to do whatever she wishes other wise like any other normal couple. Not a slave & he doesn't call her a "slut" or "a bitch on heat" which really makes me nauseated.
But what really turned me off was the fact that jack was so cruel to Morgan & she was just all gooey about it, & the author tried to make her look all strong & tough but she just kept cracking & giving up to him & just kept making excuses for him to touch her ( I really found no danger in telling him not to touch her ) I just wanted to scream at her.
Like when his granpa got her lingerie & she just put them on. That just made her lose a great chunk of her dignity. & then deke said "because his granpa thinks your perfect for jack" Like she needs approval! Confidence?
Then at the end he merely apologized saying "I didn't know I was gonna fall in love with you" I just wanted to shout at him "what if you hadn't accidently "Fall in love with me" nothing matters as long as you got your revenge eh?" & then probably slap him of the face.
Or I might of pretended to love him make him crazy for me then cheat on him & send him a tape that says "Now taste my revenge" of me fucking someone else. Just maybe.
But what she did was hope he loved her & sink at his feet at the first possible moment. All I've seen in her is weakness & lack of confidence & jack is just selfish & weak. even if he fell in love with her all his actions only proved that he's an asshole. I mean god he even fucked up Kyla's life. this book would have ended in a better way for me if Morgan stood up for herself. Maybe I would of felt better if he was the one who got shot. But it just left me annoyed.
He even mind fucked her when he gave her a horrible vanilla sex. No wonder Kayla left with Brandon.

This was perfectly fine for erotica, but, once again, the sex to plot ratio was wrong for me. The small amount of plot seemed very contrived - not just forced proximity, but only scanty clothes available. I'm kind of interested in what happens to some of the characters, so I might pick up another one at a later time, but I'll definitely have to be in the right mood for it.
