I liked this book a lot. Morgan seemed okay and believable as she is running for her life and questioning her sexuality. Although she came about a tad whiny a times(wanting to leaving Jack's protection, knowing full well that she had a crazy stalker on her trail).
Now Jack on the other hand, him I had a bit of a problem with.While I must admit that I really enjoyed his dirty talking (some of it really made me blush), I didn't really like the way he kept pushing Morgan when she told him to back off. In my mind, when a girl says no, it's no. Then there's the awful way he used her to get revenge on her brother (his ex best friend).I couldn't get past him sending Brandon that video take of their first time.It just felt like he violated Morgan's trust to me.In the end, he sort of redeemed himself by begging for her forgiveness.
I love how SB described the scenery and lingerie. I could close my eyes and picture it in my mind. I rather enjoyed the sex scenes. They were very hot but I found myself skipping through them to read about Morgan's stalker and how she would react when she found out about the depths of Jack's betrayal.
While I picked this book up for its erotica, I became enthralled by the plot. An all around good read.
This was my first time reading Shayla Black and I can say I'm looking forward to reading more of her books.

I don’t know why I listened to the good reviews about this but it was a total let down.
This is for the most part an it's-not-you-it's-me situation. I consider myself a fairly open minded person when it comes to sex and super graphic scenes, and I've read and enjoyed a few erotica novels in the past so I was super excited to give Wicked Ties a try. However, it wasn't the graphic nature of the book that turned me off, it was more the amount of sex there was. I've realized that I can only handle so much detailed sex scenes at a time before I have to take a break, which made reading this book a super slow experience for me.
What I did appreciate was the way Shayla Black portrayed a BDSM relationship. She blasts many of the negative stereotypes and taboos that surround such a relationship, and delivers the message that one should not be shamed for enjoying BDSM as long as both (or more) partners are fully consensual.
Besides the overwhelming amount of sex, which just isn't for me personally, I also wasn't a fan of the whole stalker side plot. I just don't think it was developed very well, and ultimately I found it to be unnecessary. Additionally, the idea of fate and destined lovers was a pretty strong part of the story, and as someone who doesn't believe in that kind of thing, I really didn't like how it was used to support how Morgan and Jack fell in love within three days. As far as I'm concerned, it takes more than a few good rounds of sex and a "meant-to-be" feeling to fall in love, but again that is my own opinion.
Overall, I'm a bit sad that I did not enjoy this book as much as I thought I would, but I'm certain that there are readers out there who would like it very much.

I loved it soooo much!! the story was intence and amazing. Amazing does not make justice to the book. At first I thought it was just a fun read to entertain myself for a couple days but I was completely wrong! I read it in just hours, I couldn't put the book down!
The story was really good and fun, especially the love story. When I started this book I thought it wouldn't have a love story but it was more romantic that I thought and I loved it! I loved it because I only read this type of book for the love (and despite what everyone says, these novels are the most romantic tbh) and I was satisfied.
