Best Jane Yellowrock book yet. Literally couldn't put it down. Wish I knew when next one is coming.

Can I give it 'more-than-five' stars? Love the progression of Jane/Beast and her clan and the culmination of the EV war. All the feels.

The end of the series, and not bad. More than the others, this one seemed to have occasionally moments of filler (over-description of irrelevant details, mostly), but was OK anyway. I especially liked the ending, and I can't alway say that for the final books of other series' like this. Too many authors don't seem to have a good idea about how to bring something to a satisfying conclusion, but Hunter did it well. Loose ends all tied up, and I wasn't left wanting more.

Dark Queen is another fantastic addition to the Jane Yellowrock series. So fast paced with non stop action yet it makes time for some nice quiet moments and introspection too.
Loved getting more of Jane's backstory again in this book. So happy this is not the final book in this series. Faith Hunter outdoes herself again. Loved it!

So much happened, and so many characters. Despite the chaos, I still love Faith Hunter for setting up difficult situations and complicated characters. Dramatic, but exciting installment.

Not my favorite but a lot of things were settled. There were things I was NOT ready for. Also please do not be the last Jane novel. I love her!
