This is more like a 3,75 stars rating because as much as I liked this book, it isn't a very relatable story. Also, I've only read The Opportunist by Tarryn before and didn't like it, but I must say the writing on this one is outstanding.

Btw, Jolene rocks.

Wow just wow

Read this book now. I can't even put in to words why you should...just trust me. You get into the head of all the characters and you think like they do, Tarryn give you that with her words. #pln4life

TF never ceases to amaze me. I haven't been reading much lately (pretty much not AT ALL), which is the only reason it has taken me so long to read this.

But i do have one question after finishing this... the last line in the book??!!
Spoilerdoes that mean Tarryn is actually JOLENE????

Fig was very likeable at first, even though i knew she was going to end up bat shit crazy. Although where was that one character
SpoilerGEORGE.. i thought he was fake aka [b:Marrow|22253643|Marrow|Tarryn Fisher|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1428492928s/22253643.jpg|41629663]
again. where was he during Fig's whole chapters??
.

I like that we get the book from three different characters POV's. Really sets the story up and you get to actually know what the hell is going on from all sides.

Jolene was a bit nonchalant about a whole lot of things, either not very perceptive or just not caring enough. Who wouldn't have notices all the instagram pictures , etc.

I give this book a whole five stars because i LOVED it so much and finished in one day :)

Bad Mommy is written with three different POV's. Fig, Darius, and Jolene are all crazy and broken in their own ways. Fig immediately jumps into a bit strange by stalking small children at the local park and follows one mom and her little girl home. You slowly learn how insane Fig actually is when she believes the little girl is actually her miscarried daughter and wants to save her from her bad Mommy. Fig quickly becomes friends with the Avery's after buying the house next door. Darius's POV shows how he's a sex addict and uses his clients as a therapist to save the damaged women. He knows his new neighbor is crazy and wants to be just like is wife to the extent of doing everything that they do together. This craziness draws himself to save the crazy, damaged girl next door by sleeping with her. Poor Jolene is oblivious to who her husband really is and knows Fig can be a little weird. However, Jolene's POV she learns the real truth about her husband and discovers how crazy Fig is. She learns that she can't help save her from her depression and cancer. Fig will say whatever Jolene wants to hear or whatever she needs to say to hide the real truth about her.

Bad Mommy was well written and I loved the 3 person POV with each story overlapping just enough and then continues with the story unloading into more crazy insane stalkerness and cheating husbands whose wives wants to help save the neighbor. The more you read the more locked in you were to see what was going to happen with each character. This is a definite reread book.

Oh, Tarryn Fisher, you are my guilty pleasure. How do you make me love these horrible, dark characters?? Another 5 star book!

I love the way Tarryn's twisted mind works. I thought Fig was a piece of work, and then Part Two happened. Loved it.
