What I Needed

I’ve been waiting on this story and it was what I was hoping for. Nox is such an interesting character. Micah getting his personal was so lovely to see.

I LOVED this so much!
I haven't read many books with angels and demons as center stage so I went into it without any real expectations or preconceptions.
This story was beautiful. Both Micah and Nox had depth and their journey to their HEA was messy and hard and lovely.
The other characters were also fantastic and I cannot wait to find out more about them in future books.
The dynamic between the two main characters was HOT and the spice was on point.
This book had me laughing at times and crying at others which is what makes a great story for me. I like to walk away feeling all the feelings.
I enjoyed the authors writing style and getting lost in the action.
Really looking forward to reading the next instalment.

My gosh Lark Taylor can do no wrong when it comes to emotional damage to the heart. I just wanted to squeeze and hug and love on Micah so hard. Nox is the absolute perfect counterpart to him. Their path to their HEA may not have been as “angsty” as some of her other books/couples in regards to the plot line but the emotion behind Micah and Nox’s love and feelings was no less angsty than the others. I just loved this story and I am looking forward to background storyline that seems to be going forward regarding the higher up angels “cough cough Gloria (that b****) cough cough” also this was probably one of the better “who did this to you” moments I have read in an MM book for like ever. I full on squealed. 5 stars; 3 chili peppers. Loved it would recommend obviously.

Micah & Nox
Both are so insecure in their worth...they fight over whether or not they are worth fighting for

Demons:
  Nox
  Darius
  Jeremiah
  Quill...agoraphobia
  Dahlia

Seraphim:
  Micah...leader of the Seraphim
  Ezekiel
Noah...new to group because Dimitri left
  Nate...computer guy...twin to Theo
  Benji...nuerodivergent
  Rami
  Theo...twin to Nate
  Grace and Breann...fated mates

Both groups are super stabby
Book begins at the war in he'll and Dimitri's fall and Dimitri leaving with Lucky and Dagon

Heaven not necessarily the good guys

Lots of world building ... separate from the previous demons yet still overlapping

I never expected for anyone to be able to compete with Ferry and Leo but whew, Micah and Nox did. I know I’m not alone when I say that Patience is still my favorite story, but Micah and Nox are now one of my favorite couples.

If you love a “we can’t” story with a hopeless romantic that will deny it and a martyr that will do anything for him, this is for you.

We all know that Lark can write her ass off but this was so good and well worth the wait.

I’d say that you should read Dimitri’s book at least before this one but I don’t really think it matters (I didn’t
