I don’t know why I put off reading this book for so long. I did really enjoy it! Archer Hale - wow that boy needs therapy and to be protected at all costs! (Fictionally lol).
This book is based on a lot of trauma - which I think maybe needed to be mentioned more???
Bree is kind of cringy with the things she says to Archer or about him but you just have to see past that.
I don’t know what the last 50 pages were about though! I didn’t know if I was coming or going. A bit of a roller coaster - didn’t expect it! Thought it was kind of rushed.
I have seen that people get very emotional reading this book however, it didn’t make me upset or cry just sad for those who experienced a life like Archers - Also possibly because I am trauma riddled as well heheheh!

This was a very cute romance, emotionally charged because of all the traumatic pasts, but the journey to healing was beautiful. I really loved the characters, both dealing with their own issues and just trying to make it through.
The audiobook was fine but nothing special, and there were only a couple of spicy scenes, nothing too memorable. The characters are what truly shine in this story. The plot is a bit shaky, but I didn’t really care. It was a feel-good read and exactly what I needed.

if you look past the fact that these two have gone through literally so much it’s crazy, it’s a great book. the ending kinda slowed down for me a bit but i still really enjoyed it!!!
Wow this book was good. 10/10 worth the hype. I will not easily be forgetting this book. It was powerful. It was sweet. It was tender. It was flipping unputdownable!! One of those love stories u simply cannot get out of your head!
