This was fun and not too serious, I won't try to critique the poetry here as, despite the format, I don't think that's actually the point. A quick and sometimes humorous collection, with a few heartfelt tid bits, but I don't think I'm really the demographic here and probably won't read more of the author.

Perfect gift for a friend going through a rough breakup.
It will cause little giggles that are helpful when mourning the loss of a relationship.
I was thoroughly entertained!

I feel like if I had a friend be heartbroken by a fuckboy or gal, I'd get this book and slide it under her door. I'd hope it'd give her peace in the same way it did the author. This first learned rhyme scheme, paired with heartbreak, makes the latter tangible.

Thank you to NetGalley, the author, and Tiller Press for allowing me to read this galley in exchange for an honest review.

This was a fun, short book. It's the perfect read if you need a quick escape from the everyday.

Kristina Grish and her husband split up, but she didn't see it coming. To cope she started writing haiku. The book is divided into different sections with haiku that go with each one. Sections include: Memories, Fights, Coping and Solo, among others. There were haiku that made me laugh out loud, and others that were contemplative.

I really enjoyed this book and think it would make the perfect gift book for someone going through a breakup or just someone that loves haiku!

Thanks NetGalley and Simon & Schuster for this eGalley in exchange for an honest review.
