I love the “Gundam, but ghosts” concept SO much, but it really is mostly a concept. Characterization falls by the wayside in favor of whatever will look coolest. There are a few really fantastic layout choices (like when the Pilots and the Bastards run into each other in #1) and I have no complaints about the art, but I wish the story leaned harder into the people than the vibe.

The story felt disjointed, and there are so many unanswered questions at the end of this volume. I would’ve liked to see more of the development of Ami’s relationship with the house. The artwork is very gory and detailed.

I liked the art in this and was intrigued by the haunted house story. The giant ghost-mech reveal at the end didn't work for me (surprising!) but still an enjoyable horror comic.
