WARNING: Few spoilers ahead...

Single POV (Lily's) and dual timeline. Didn't cry like the others when I read this book but it's really a good book to read. Totally worth the time reading! I think due to Lily's trauma and life struggles, a lot of people were able to relate how difficult it is to go through them, deal with them, and overcome them. I like that the story is not predictable and idealistic. You kinda wish it would work out with Ryle, but in real life, people don't change overnight. I like that Lily is a strong woman and a good mom who made a decision and chose what's best for her and her kid. Looking forward to the sequel.

This book definitely needed a trigger warning attached to it. It deals with topics such as suicide, domestic abuse & violence and rape.

Aside from the lack of trigger warning, it is a gripping read as it explores the relationship between Lily & Atlas and Lily & Ryle.

I would recommend it, but be aware it could trigger some past experiences for some people!
