Loved it finally I have been waiting years to see Stephanie's story and Thorne's too.

I have read every book of this series, and while I agree that Ms. Sands is very humorous in her writing, it feels like the humor has tapered off for a while now. However, this book had me giggling/laughing the whole time. This felt like classic Sands from the first several books of this series. She was definitely hitting my funny bone with the almost flat-dry humor that Stephanie was dishing out. Thorne was no slouch either.

Basically, this book really got me wanting more from Ms. Sands. I've stuck with the series from the beginning because they are good books, but this book was better than just good. I look forward to future Argeneau books.

(And yes, I am aware that these are PNR, but I look for more in my PNR than just the sexy scenes. I love funny and witty PNR, and Ms. Sands has been in this genre for years, supplying me with laughs.)

Stephanie has learned to accept her life of voices, loneliness and fear. And the she meets Thorne and for a time the voices stop. Thorne knows he will never live a normal life but for his mother he is willing to try but can he?
Immortal Rising is the latest addition to Lynsay Sands Argeneau series. I love getting to know Thorne better even as Stephanie finally gets her happily ever after. We have seen her grow both in age and experience. She has fought to have some normalcy inspite of the voices. I loved that both Thorne and Stephanie felt different but when they were together their differences didn't matter. I loved that Stephanie gave Thorne acceptance and he gave her peace. The only question is will they survive long enough to enjoy it? I adored finding out in this return to the Argeneau world Ms. Sands has created.

It was great to see Stephanie grown up and dealing with her extraordinary powers. She's such a strong female character. To see Thorne matched with her was interesting in deed! I wouldn't have matched them but of course they were perfect for each other. Seeing the end of this overarching plot was satisfying! Lucian of course was slipped in and he is such a smartass!! Seeing Stephanie finally stand up for herself with her silly, clueless sister was triumphant!

I have read every single one of Lynsay Sands’ Argeneau series multiple times and I think this is one of my favorite stories. I love the mix of Dresslers creatures and the immortals are perfect.
This story is funny, sexy and fun!
