Another good romance from Ali Hazelwood. I especially loved the setting of a wedding in Sicily.

Guess who might’ve just finished their new favorite Ali Hazelwood book?! I didn’t anything would top Live Theoretically but something about an age gap is just… ugh. 😩

This FMC is so freaking confident (rightfully so) and my god was she a dirty talkerrrrr. Like… dayum. That was hot.

Of course the MMC is swoon (and drool) worthy. And he put up juuuuust the right amount of fight in trying to push her away without losing the tension that was built up.

Also listened to this on audio and the two narrators did a phenomenal job. No notes!

Tropes:
Brother’s Best Friend
Age Gap (15 Years)
Forced Proximity
Mutual Pining
Dual Timelines

Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️

As per usual, I loved another book by Ali Hazelwood.
I was worried since Not In Love is my least favorite book of hers but this was so good. It got a little repetitive with the reasonings for the two MC to not be together, but the eventual moment of their reconciliation was worth the wait.
I really like Maya and Conor’s banter, they match up so well. Her silliness helps even out his seriousness. And his stability helps level her out when she flies off the handle. They were so good together.
Getting to see glimpses of other characters is so fun, and even not being a fan of Eli, I was happy to see his wedding to Rue.
Truly I just wanted more when I finished the book!
