I don't know what it is about nonfiction crime dramas, but I could not put this down.

Potentially an intriguing character study, this book started strong, and then got lost in the minutiae of investigative details and legal bureaucracy. The message would have been equally clear in 100 less pages.

The movie is great, but this book, masterfully written by the NY Times reporter that covered the story, goes into great detail. It reminded me of A Civil Action, in its tone and effect. Great book, it will keep you up late at night.

When I was a kid and went to visit my grandparents who lived outside of Bloomington, IL, I would watch the Electric Company and Sesame Street on their large Zenith TV. I remember so looking forward to the show and also memorized the sponsors: ADM, the supermarket to the world.

This book is a fascinating look into the world of ADM, the US Justice Department, and the FBI. It is also, by far, the best book I've read all year. I had no idea the influence that ADM had on every single person who eats on the planet. I am at a loss to describe the inmpact this book had on me.

The subject matter is interesting but the book drags. It could have been told in a much quicker fashion.
