Mannnn this book. I LOVE everything about it. No 3rd act break up? I LOVED that so much. Easton and mayas story was absolutely adorable and a total feel good college romance. ❤️

this is kind of a dumb book but the mmc was cute. that’s really all i have to say.
спочатку все було ну дуже мило, але саме через це в другій половині стало жахливо нудно. я не люблю драму в ром-комах, але коли герої ледь не з перших сторінок разом, то (особисто мені) перестає цікаво спостерігати, як вони просто весь час щасливі разом. можливо, стало б краще, якби авторка додала ще якусь лінію, яка хоча б якось рухала сюжет.

Questo credo che sia il romanzo hockey romance che si concentra maggiormente sull'hockey che abbia mai letto. La scrittrice si concentra molto sulle partite e spiega veramente bene lo sport. La storia mi è piaciuta, molto carina, ma la lunghezza mi ha impedito di apprezzarla appieno. Il rapporto tra i due evolve lentamente, anche se lui è invaghito di lei dal primo istante. Mi sono molto piaciuti, come ho gradito l'attenzione che la scrittrice ha dato ai problemi dei personaggi. Uniche pecche le scene spicy, veramente troppe, e la lunghezza del romanzo. Credo che un pochino più breve avrebbe giovato la storia.

Easton brought the love and spice on and off the ice! Whew! Maya was determined to never date a hockey player after having her heart broken by one. Along comes Easton and he turns her world upside down. Easton shows Maya that he’s not the typical playboy hockey player and she can’t help but fall for him. His unconditional love and support was swoon worthy. Add in the creepy ex - who just so happens to be the hockey player that broke her heart and her hockey playing brothers best friend - and you have protective alpha Easton to deal with. He proves her stereotypes about hockey players wrong at every turn. I’m hoping to hear more about this dynamic couple in the next installment.

Iced Out was completely different from what I expected and [a:Veronica Eden|19791446|Veronica Eden|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1575736252p2/19791446.jpg] made me VERY happy with Easton & Maya's story. I think these two were the best start Heston U Hotshots could have had, with amazing secondary characters with whom I am totally in love, a funny, sweet and tender love story, touching and heartbreaking moments and one of my favorite endings written by this author.
Maya was an amazing character!! A girl with a broken heart that remains strong, brave and firm in her goal of graduating in three years, she's an animal lover, enjoys her job, her career and has a beautiful, sincere and kind heart. Plus, I loved reading the relationship she has with his brother Ryan, even when they are not going through the best of times, the sweet, tender and moving bond Maya shares with his grandfather and the unconditional friendship she has with Reagan, I love that she's surrounded by people who love her, support her, and are always there for her.
Easton was a rather peculiar character: captain of the Heston U hockey team, with aspirations of reaching the NHL and who is not at all interested in maintaining a serious relationship with a girl until Maya unexpectedly appears in his life. Something that I found very funny about Easton was his corniness when talking to Maya, the way in which he constantly shows her how he feels about her and how interested he is in getting to know her, plus he has an interesting personal story that connect in a touching way with Maya's, a group of friends who are a very important part of his life and a heart that made me fall in love so much.
Easton & Maya have a chemistry that's been there from the start and I loved that Veronica put a different spin on the "rival's sister" trope carrying the story to a totally different place than I expected and one that made me enjoy the story much more. What I enjoyed the most about these two was, without a doubt, reading the force with which Easton falls in love with Maya, how he is always willing to support her and prioritize the important things in thier life and their relationship, besides, it was beautiful to read Maya confiding in Easton with the most important situations of her life. Together they are the cutest, sexiest and funniest and I really need more of them!
