This story of Leia was very true to her character. I was surprised the whole story was of 16 year old Leia, I was hoping to also see more insight to her during the movies like A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, And Return of the Jedi. But I still do believe this gave more insight to Leia as we know her today as she went through tough trials, especially after losing Kier, and he also shows that she had a life before A New Hope that many of us never knew before this good book.

Probably more like 3.5 - If I was 16 years old this book would have been my everything. I did love the friendship with Holdo, but honestly - this book wasn't written for me, it was perfectly written for younger women. (Also, who else can't think of Bail Organa without thinking of Jimmy Smits?)
