aaaaaAAAAAA
I love Leia.
I loved that this gave her so much for dimension than George Lucas did, and the slight nod to her maybe connecting to the force, *chef's kiss*
Claudia, please give me MORE

I have started to really like listening to Star Wars audiobooks. They have music, sounds affects, and great narrators.
I really enjoyed "Rebel Rising," which takes place before Rogue One. "Leia" Princess of Alderaan," takes place around the same time as "Rebel Rising."
I do have to say I enjoyed "Rebel Rising," more than this one. Rogue One is of my favorite of the Star Wars movies, so maybe that is why. I did enjoy this book, however.
I loved getting to know Princess Leia as a teenager. The things that happen to her in this book really help to explain the way she is in the movies.

The reason why I am not giving it a higher rating is that I found some parts of the story to be uninteresting. I think I would have liked more moments of life on Alderaan, than moments spent exploring random planets. I also would have liked there to be more scenes with Keer and Leia. I didn't feel myself rooting for their relationship much, because there weren't very many romantic scenes.
That being said, I still liked this book.

So good! This book captures Leia perfectly! When the girl playing her in Kenobi gets to older I so want a series or movie or special made about these events! I love this book so much!

Blech. She's whiny, self-absorbed, and I hated her from the beginning. With one of my favorite characters that is a tough job, but this book did it. DNF'd. Life is too short for books that I don't enjoy.
