Alias Grace is a book based on a real story and it follows Grace, a woman accused and sentenced for murder.
The start of the book is quite rocky, as the reader has to find its pace and the story feels like its presented in fragments and partially, as we move from one POV to another.
However, it does get better when Grace starts to narrate her life. The writing style gets used to as well.
Still, and because this is a historical mystery, by the end things are still foggy.

I am not sure what to think of this book. The pacing was too slow for me and many parts were boring. I had a hard time getting into the story. Yet I wanted to find out what really happened. Though after finishing I'm still not sure if we were told the truth or that Grace was lying.
