I finished this audiobook and said aloud “wow”. Just wow. Amber Tamblyn blends fiction and reality and words until it is poetry unlike anything else. Brutal and heartbreaking and with such depth of understanding of our culture and the human spirit. She portrays trauma so accurately. My mind is blown over here. The audiobook is beyond incredible - I am so impressed with the readers and hope Amber agrees that they captured her words perfectly.

Very fast book. Different way of reading about sexual assault. Only issue I had was knowing about Maude. I didn't feel we ever really knew her.
