Was totally drawn in by the mini-site for this book (www.adorationofjennafox.com). Like others here I refuse to give anything away, but MAN this was super compelling and made my butterfly brain go crazy! Wasn't super pleased with the ending, nor the unrealistic intensity of the "love" storyline, but I could read it again right now.

Beautifully written book that raises a lot of philosophical questions…and kind of destroys some of them in its unnecessary epilogue (and sequels). My recommendation: read this book (!), but stop after the last chapter. It’s a more open, but far better ending for the story, I promise. ;)

I really enjoyed this book. I think I have to read parts of it again -- it really gave me a lot to think about. My students also seem to be really enjoying it! (The entire school is reading it for our all-school reading choice)

It's a pretty good book. No it's not. There are lots of secrets that Jenna finds out about her life before the accident, which makes it kind of suspenseful, but it was boring for me. It was like I could guess what was going to happen next. At first I was like, cool! I was right! That did happen! But after awhile I was like, oh wow (says boringly) yet again, I guessed the plot. (says sarcastically.) It sounds good, but trust me, you can live without it.

Pretty good book! Liked the story but I think it needed a little more development. Very interesting take on futuristic medical circumstances. Some of the characters were kind of pointless. Not sure how this will continue to 2 more books but I don't think I'll read them.

I really liked the questions this book raises about medical and scientific advances. I have concerns about genetically modified foods and overuse of antibiotics and antibacterial products. As a parent of an only child, it made me think hard about what I would do if put in the same situation as the parents of Jenna Fox. Hopefully, I will never have to find out...

I thought this was an... interesting book. Not one of my favorites though... It was more realistic fiction set in the near feature where there is engineered plants and such. Not my kind of genera or story line I like to read so I didn't care much for this book. I guessed a few things before Jenna did but it still had twists I had not anticipated. Not a bad book though. It was a bit funny and I liked how Jenna made her own life. I had a few questions regarding what happened to some of the supporting characters though...

Really liked the concept of this book
