I really loved the first book in the series. I love the city and characters, but this book was sort of a long fluff piece. May revisit when I miss Mystic Falls.
honestly i hated poppy most of this book. i literally pushed through for josh because i really enjoyed his character but the mediocre writing coupled with the most annoying fmc ive had the displeasure to read about in a while this book was just not for me.

This heroine is a terrible person. She’s constantly putting her family down in her quest to not get stuck in their same lives. I could not root for her.
