THE WEREWOLF'S FAE MATE was a quick and easy read with a fated mates story between a wolf shifter and a fae. Mahon and Oscar were both really likable characters and there's not too much drama surrounding their relationship. At first Oscar has no idea he's fae but he quickly adapts to the existence of magic and other paranormal things. While there wasn't anything that really jumped out to me, this was still a very solid paranormal romance. I'm curious to read more from this author.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.
This was an enjoyable story, it didn’t feel very in depth but still a nice read. Mahon has seen the bad side of the relationship of werewolves and the fae. This makes it even harder to make a decision regarding Oscar and his own doubts cause him to push Oscar to find out about his family.
Oscar is so cute and doesn’t know about his heritage but trusts Mahon and his brother to help him. Mahon needs to learn to let go of some of his assumptions on how others will be treated and I’m glad he has found a place that will accept him and his mate.

I am super picky about this genre and this book was just okay. I don't mind shorter stories, but this one would have benefited from being a little longer. It does have an interesting premise. Unfortunately, there are a lot of missed opportunities in further world building and character development. I don't feel inclined to read more of this author's books simply because I'm afraid they'll fall into the pitfall of much of this genre - repetitive themes, characters, and plots.
