Loved loved loved! Felt like a combination of two of my favorite books - The Measure (predicting people’s deaths) and Vera Wong (funny old lady protagonist). It’s a longer book but the pacing is great and the audiobook was so well done. Five stars! 2025 is off to a good start!!

Liane Moriarty continues to be a master of tying everything together in a satisfying little bow when you are sure she’s going to miss a few strands. Short chapters and constantly shifting POV had me flying though this.

A group of people on a plane get a prediction from one of the passengers. The predictions are unrequested and all give them the age and cause of their deaths. Most of the passengers ignore the premonition and move on with their lives. While others obsess over the premonition. When a few people die in the manner that was predicted, all the passengers start to worry. They change their lives and try to avoid their deaths.
This was a great look at the character of the people and the way people would act if they thought they knew when they would pass. Some people desperately try to avoid the cause of their death. Others try to prepare for the inevitable.
