I started reading a few pages of this book a really long time ago, but never really got into it. I enjoyed the first two books in the series, so I'm not sure what exactly was stopping me from picking this one up.

Honestly, I regret not reading this last year. This book was great! I loved how many surprises were in it, and Audrey Grey is an amazing writer. I was really just pulled into the book and didn't want to put it down. I loved seeing how the characters grew and transformed; for the better or worst, and I really feel like the entire series is coming together.

This book is perfect for Throne of Glass fans, and I highly recommend it.

Another 4/5 here, although the ending was AMAZING!!!! The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is I found it a little slow in the beginning but past around 50% it was soooo goood, best book in the series yet. I think the next instalment has a great opportunity to be 5 stars, just by the build up in this book (although it didn’t suffer from middle book syndrome in the slightest) so I look forward to reading it when it comes out:

4'5⭐/5⭐
Brutal.

At first, I wasn't sure where this story was going to go now that the Curse was broken, but I loved where it went! I love Stolas and his interactions with Haven; they are the best scenes. The lore for the world is expanding, and I like where it's headed. I'm excited to read the next book and see how this plot plays out.

My favourite book in the series

Filled with deathly competitions, love, revenge, hatred, betrayals, angst and more magick. I loved and enjoyed King Maker soo much!!
