This book is honest and vulnerable. I wasn’t comfortable the entire time and I shouldn’t have been. The writing was phenomenal and the characterization of true stories over such a period of time makes this author one worth celebrating

I don’t love my non-fiction to read like a novel, but the thing is, the author very clearly spent so much time with the subjects of her research that it felt like their voices really were coming through.
Anyway, the book left me with a lot of anger.

Nothing much to say that hasn’t already been said. If you’re a straight white woman looking to understand the sexual desires of straight white women, this will offer little new information. If you’re an alien looking to understand straight white women and Buffalo Wild Wings, might be useful. Easy to skim in a day, though.

Struck a deep chord in the loneliness and desperation of female desire. Would have liked to see more diverse stories, from women with power, or with non-men.

Alright, I’m not a huge fan of non-fiction; consequently, I hated this book. The grammar is trash, the people in the book are annoying, and there isn’t a single point to any of their stories. It follows the lives of three different women who have each had their own sexual trauma so they decide to become home wreckers? Idk. I had a hard time identifying with any of them. Dear Lisa Taddeo, please learn how to use commas and quotation marks or hire better editors to fix this for you. It wasn’t stylistic, it was frustrating. Thank you.
