I often found myself wondering, what’s the point of this?

The court drama dragged on way too long because the characters and scenery were what really added intrigue to the book. Really fascinating and hilarious characters that felt surreal despite being real people. Loved the savannah history and feel like I know more of its history

One of the few books where I saw the movie first...so I knew what to expect for the most part. I've lived in GA for half of my life, and can attest that Savanah is unique and beautiful in equal measures. This was a well written and researched book.

This rating is largely based on the recommendation of this book as true crime. Yes, a crime is part of this book but is hardly the focus of most of it. Rather it is about the often colourful characters the author interacted with while living in Savannah.
