Off the Grid was full of emotions and I loved the romance between Camilla and Riggs. Camilla moves back home to learn the ropes of the family business. Riggs is a play boy who finally gets his chance to race F1. These two had a rocky start but I loved the friendship they formed while they worked together. These two had great chemistry and I loved all their verbal sparring. I loved the way that Riggs grew throughout the story and the way he cared and protected Cami. I really enjoyed this story from start to finish. CW: Main character was SA in the past and is talked about.

This book was narrated by Carly Robins and Shane East. They did an amazing job bringing Cami and Riggs to life and tackling all the emotions in this book. They both gave stellar performances.

Very slow start, takes 200 pages to get to the point. Cute ending though.

I love a good bad book

this book pissed me off.

camilla goes to a bar with her friends after learning about how sick her father has become and accepting to learn the ropes of her father’s F1 racing company.

camilla’s friends want to change her clothing choices, hair, and for her to start hooking up with any man she’s interested in to help raise her confidence. camilla loves baggy jeans, jordan’s, and oversized tops and it’s hinted at she has experienced something traumatic for this to be a huge part of her identity. she doesn’t care what others think, but camilla will change her hair and shoes, her clothes need to stay.

camilla is approached by a hot man at the bar when she goes to get another drink. they begin chatting while waiting for drinks, they flirt, and then she makes the first move and kisses him. they start to part ways, exchange numbers, he kisses her and then HE LEAVES A DARE CARD. something along the lines of “get the number of a girl who won’t be hit on”. are you fucking with me? she confronts him and he tries to get away with he wouldn’t have kissed her a second time if he didn’t see her as beautiful. okay? then why did you leave that nasty dare card spencer riggs? you could have pocketed it.

i was so mad. still am because that asshole became the F1 racer her father’s company signs on after loosing one of their racers. and they “fall in love”. no. immediate no. this is toxic.

booktalk is a fucking joke. no. do not approve.

Off the Grid is book 1 of 4 in the Full Throttle Series and this book has set the pace! The Prologue sets the pace of this book with lots of feels.

Both MC’s have grew up in the Formula 1 racing world. Riggs Dad was an F1 driver died in an accident while racing. Camilla is the daughter and granddaughter of Moretti Motorsports. Both MCs have experienced some type of trauma or tragedy that leaves them both broken.

Camilla returns to Moretti Motorsports at the request of her father even though she no longer loves to be at the track.
Riggs is asked by Camilla’s dad to work at Moretti Motorsport and he has to find a way to deal with his father’s death.

I loved watching two banter and fight their feelings.

Kristy has a way of beautiful way of writing about people with a past and this book is no exception. He is arrogant and has a way of getting under her skin. Riggs helps her heal from her past and regain her confidence and feel protected while being flirty and fun.

This story had me completely captivated. I couldn't get enough of Spencer Riggs' relentless pursuit of his Formula 1 dreams and Camilla Moretti's return to the racing scene. Spencer's character development was truly remarkable as he evolved from an initially arrogant figure into a much better person.

Camilla's intricate character, with her compelling journey back into the racing world, was masterfully depicted. The chemistry between Spencer and Camilla, along with their playful banter, added an exciting layer to the story.

Although the story did have a slow start with extensive inner monologues, it soon gained momentum and had me glued to the pages. K. Bromberg's signature emotional rollercoaster, humor, heartwarming moments, and steamy romance were all present and accounted for.

This is certainly a promising kickoff to the Full Throttle series. I eagerly anticipate delving into the next book to further explore this thrilling racing universe and its enthralling characters.

This story took long to get going, about half way through is really where it started to pick up. It also felt like there were a lot of loose ends? Riggs is amazing and Cami seems great but overall the story felt slightly underwhelming and took too long to take off. There are other books in this series I have preferred more!

I’m a huge fan of f1 so I was super excited for this series.
