Off the Grid is another interesting F1 romance by K. Bromberg. She is becoming my go-to if I want a little F1 in my life.
Camilla works for the team that Spencer gets called up to join. Their enemies to lovers, forbidden, steamy, and emotional as well.
I loved the development of Spencer and Camilla’s relationship. Spencer is not the most likable MMC, but he did prove there is more to him than meets the eye. I loved how he defended Camilla and supported her. There were some super sweet and swoony moments. l loved their chemistry, and their banter was fun. Camilla’s backstory was quite emotional and heartbreaking. I loved how Riggs gave her a safe space to be herself and helped her feel comfortable in her skin.
I did listen to this one:
Carly Robins and Shane East fid a great job.
I feel like i could easily not pay attention because the plot stagnated a bit in places but she ended it well.

I almost DNF’ed this one, I had only made it to 30% after 3 weeks and I just felt like it wasn’t getting started. So before I DNF’ed it I found it on hoopla and decided to try the audio. Then the story seemed to move really fast. I was very glad I continued trying and using a different format. I saved the audios for the rest of the series to continue.

Hooked by the end of Chapter 1! KB has a way of drawing you in to any story. For a person that doesn’t like racing, Driven is one of my favorite series…and now this. Off the Grid was just as entertaining and addicting.
Riggs has spent his whole life trying to make it to F1 racing. When his time comes, he will do anything to stay there. But he has some demons sitting in the shadows that he needs to work through. He doesn’t need any distractions.
Camilla is racing royalty. She’s grown up her life around it, as her grandfather owns a team. Now her father runs it and he needs her help. Camilla also has some demons and they revolve around racing. The last things she needs is a distraction.
One night, out with friends, both Riggs and Camilla run into each other. Neither having any idea who the other is. They are both in for a shock when the new driver comes in for his first meeting with the team.
Everything about this was great. Love the banter, love the chemistry, love the torn heartstrings, just everything was perfect. Riggs and Camilla both had a hole in their hearts and love how when put together, they both became whole. I became sad 3/4 of the way through as I knew the story was coming to an end. Looking forward to the other stories in the series!
